Marilyn's KORU® Apple Cake

Ingredients
Cake
1/4 cup (60 grams) butter
1/4 cup (60 grams) sugar
1 egg (beaten)
1/2 cup (75 grams) flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 KORU® Apple peeled and sliced
Topping
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Method
- Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C)
- Cream butter and sugar
- Sift flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture alternately with the beaten egg
- Pour into a greased dish
- Place sliced Koru® apples on top of the batter mixture
- Combine 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle over the apple
- Bake for 40 minutes
