KORU® Apple Sauce

Cooks time: 15 minutes 

Yields: Yields approximately 4 1/2 cups of KORU® Apple sauce.

"So easy to make, and no need for added sugar with these naturally sweet KORU® apples! Eat as is, add to yoghurt or meusli, or make fruit rolls for the kids! Great natural food for baby and can be frozen in ice trays for future use!"

Try substituting one of these flavorings or one of your choice! Seeds from one vanilla bean, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder. Add 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, raspberries or blueberries


6 medium KORU® Apples, peeled and diced

1 cup water

2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon* (optional)


  1. Place all ingredients in a large saucepan.
  2. Simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for about 15 minutes until apples are soft.
  3. Blend with immersion blender until smooth, or leave somewhat chunky if you prefer.
